TEAM ITI WINS MULTIPLE TITLES AT SEVERAL IDPA AND USPSA SANCTIONED MATCHES OVER MAY 18-19 WEEKEND

SHACKLEFORDS, VA (May 2013) – Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) members performed exceptionally well at several IDPA and USPSA sanctioned matches over the weekend of May 18th and 19th, 2013 bringing home several titles. Morgan Allen was crowned the Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) Division Champion, while accumulating 4 match stage wins at the Great Lakes Regional held at the Linwood-Bay Sportsman’s Club in Linwood, MI May 17th through 19th, 2013. This is Allen’s sixth consecutive ESP Division title at the IDPA Great Lakes Regional.

”I had a great time at the Great Lakes Regional! Thanks to Dave Alexander, Gary Cuttitta, Brenda Wightman-Langley and many others for once again reminding me what a shooter’s match is like,” remarked Allen. “Congrats to my teammates Laura Torres-Reyes, Gary Byerly and Cindi Thomas who each had stellar performances at their respective matches.”

Teammate Laura Torres-Reyes was also competing at the Great Lakes Regional and won the High Military award.

“I thought the match was a perfect start to the season,” Torres-Reyes stated.” I was fortunate to be placed on a squad with a super group of extremely talented and generous master shooters that included my mentor and teammate Morgan Allen. Gary and his staff did a fantastic job in executing a stellar match experience!”

A strong, fundamental base and top tier equipment made that a non-factor and allowed me to perform at my best. Thanks to Robert Holleman and his crew for an outstanding match!”

Team ITI Captain Brandon Wright Places Second Overall in Production Division and Teammate Gary Byerly Places in Top Five at 2013 USPSA Area 6 Championship

Team ITI Captain Brandon Wright and fellow teammate Gary Byerly were at the 2013 USPSA Area 6 Championship held at the Ancient City Range in St. Augustine, Florida from April 19th through 21st, 2013. Wright placed Second Overall in the Production Division with 94% while Byerly finished within the Top Ten.

“This match was a good blend of straight up shooting with some very simple and short stages that complemented the more challenging field courses,” Wright said. “This match displayed a shooters ability to shoot rather than who can figure out the fastest way to shoot the stage. Despite the grueling weather conditions, I was able to focus enough and pull out a second place finish.” Wright continued, “I’d like to thank all the match staff for working so hard in the hot, then cold, wet weather. They had to endure far more than the shooters did. Congratulations to my teammates Morgan Allen and Gary Byerly for their performances as well.”

Team ITI would like to thank all of their 2013 sponsors for their support: 5.11 Tactical VA Beach, Virginia, Atlanta Arms and Ammo, Dan Burwell Gunsmithing, FrogLube, G2 Gemini, Laura Burgess Marketing, Rudy Project USA and RANGELOG, LLC.

Byerly’s next match is the SC USPSA Sectional held in Summerville, SC on May 3rd through 4th, 2013. Spectators can also catch Wright at his next competition at the 2013 USPSA Springfield Armory Single Stack Nationals held in Barry, IL May 9th through 11th, 2013. Allen’s next match will be the Great Lakes Regional, to be held at the Linwood-Bay Sportsman’s Club in Linwood, MI May 17th through 19th, 2013.

TEAM ITI MEMBER MORGAN ALLEN WINS HIGH OVERALL AND ESP DIVISION CHAMPION AT AL 2013 IDPA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

SHACKLEFORDS, VA (April 2013) – Team International Training, Inc. This is Allen’s fourth consecutive year winning the ESP Division Champion title at this particular match. He won five of twelve match stages. For full match results, please visit the AL 2013 IDPA State Championship results website.

“This match wasn’t a complicated one, but had more than a few technical shots spread at just the right intervals to force many speed changes,” commented Allen. “Although my match began with a bit of a rocky start, it quickly improved. Without a well-documented and rehearsed practice plan and training program in place, early hiccups could have easily derailed my match.” Allen continued, “Congrats to my teammates Brandon Wright and Gary Byerly for great finishes under the difficult conditions of the USPSA Area 6 match. I’d also like to thank my sponsors for helping make the matches possible, including Team ITI, RangeLog, Rainier Ballistics, Safariland, Abernathy Gun Works and others.”

TEAM ITI MEMBER MORGAN ALLEN WINS 2013 IDPA PUERTO RICO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

SHACKLEFORDS, VA (March 2013) –

Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) member Morgan Allen won ESP Champion and High International titles at the 2013 IDPA Puerto Rico National Championship, held in Caguas, Puerto Rico March 15th through 17th, 2013. This is Allen’s second consecutive year winning the ESP Champion title at this particular competition. He finished the match with a 208.66 (56) match score. For full match results, please visit the 2013 IDPA Puerto Rican National Championship results website.

“The match had some fantastic stages requiring a wide variety of shooting skills. One thing you won’t see at many ranges are targets on zip lines that come in from 60 to 70 feet up in the jungle hillside. These served as a backdrop for several of the bays,” commented Allen. “As such, adaptability within your training plan and tools used to drive them became an essential component to having a successful match.” Allen continued, “A special thank you goes out to Max Rivera of IDPA Puerto Rico, Tom Yost with Smith & Wesson and all of the staff who put together a great match this past weekend. I appreciate the support of Team ITI, Team RangeLog, Ranier Ballistics, Safariland and others.”

While Allen was competing in Puerto Rico, Team ITI Captain Brandon Wright was at the 2013 USPSA Alabama Sectional Championship, also known as the Heart of Dixie Shootout, held at the East Alabama Gun Club in Phenix City, Alabama from March 15th through 16th, 2013. Wright placed Second in the Production Division, coming in just behind Division Champion Dave Sevigny by 6.123%.
